Crafty Sentiments Designs Tutorial - A Fun Christmas


It's my turn to share a tutorial on the Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration Blog this morning and this is the card I've made.

I've used a very cute stamp called 'A Fun Christmas' which you can find here on the website.  The paper, card and pearls I've used are from Craft Creations and I've used Promarkers to colour the image.

I've used a digi stamp from A Day for Daisies called 'Pretty Ornaments' which you can find here on the A Day for Daisies website.  I've embossed part of the background using a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder, layered with silver paper and used some silver self adhesive pearls to finish the card.

LC Designs Classes - 23 July


A big thank you to everyone who came along to my two LC Designs classes yesterday - we had a great day and it was lovely to see everyone!

In the morning it was 'Wonderful Wavy' cards and in the afternoon 'Cards for All Occasions'.  I'll be sharing the cards I designed for the classes over the next couple of weeks.

Today I'm sharing one of the cards from the 'Wonderful Wavy' class.  For this card I used the 'Wavy Christmas Village Scene' stamp which is here on the LC Designs website.  It was stamped on white card and then part of it stamped again to make a continuous scene.  I then cut along the wavy base of the scene and matted the white card on to patterned paper.  I finished it off with a black mat and some pearls and one of the sentiments from the stamp set.

New Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge - Anything Goes


We've got a new challenge today on the Crafting With Dragonflies Challenge and this time it's an 'anything goes' challenge.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

My card is one that I designed for my LC Designs Celebrations class this afternoon.  The class was a mixture of Christmas and Birthday cards and I'll be sharing the rest of them over the coming weeks.

For this card I've used a digi stamp which will be launches on the LC Designs website very soon.  I paper pieced each of the little birds using kraft paper and then gingham paper.  The card base is kraft cards, red paper and gingham paper.

I've added Card Candi and punched hearts to finish the card.

Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration Post - Hark the Angel


It was my turn to share some inspiration yesterday on the Crafty Sentiments Designs Blog and I made a card using the beautiful 'Hark the Angel' digi stamp.

New Challenges at Cute Card Thursday and Cardz 4 Galz


This is a card I've made as inspiration for two challenge blogs.

I've used the main image from the 'Qeen Anne's Lace' digi stamp set from Imagine That Digis - you can find it here on the Imagine That website.  Here's what you get in the set:


I used a Craftwork Cards card blank and embossed the lower half of the front using an embossing folder.  I then masked off the top half and applied Distress Ink over the top of the embossing.  On the top half I added some faux stitching round the card blank edge.
